Special Counsel Miraculously Locates Biographer Transcripts

One of the big issues the GOP had with Special Counsel Robert Hur was when they requested the transcripts of Biden’s biographer.

They wanted the transcripts to see if Biden had told his biographer classified information.

When Biden was the candidate, they were nowhere to be found, but they have suddenly resurfaced.

Oh, We Found Them

There are a lot of people asking a lot of questions about the timing of the transcripts resurfacing.

The ghostwriter, Mark Zwonitzer, is believed to have been privy to classified information while writing Joe Biden’s book.

Oversight Project counsel Kyle Brosnan noted the importance of reviewing these transcripts as part of the investigation into Biden’s mental competency.

As we noted above, when Biden was running for re-election, they were nowhere to be found, but even the media noticed that now that Joe Biden is out and a lame-duck president, it is odd that they have suddenly surfaced.

The DOJ informed Brosnan that it had located the transcripts just as the hearing on the matter was about to begin.

He stated, "There do exist written transcripts of President Biden’s interviews with his ghostwriter where they discuss classified material, and that Special Counsel Hur relied upon those written transcripts in coming to his conclusions [that Biden was a ‘well-meaning elderly man with a poor memory’].

"The discovery of those materials has been the subject of a lot of back-and-forth between us and the Justice Department about how we want to proceed.”

In all, there are about 70 hours of tape between Biden and his ghostwriter, so there will be considerable review before the DOJ is willing to turn them over.

What will be interesting will be to see what, if any material is redacted for security reasons.

Just remember: every black line means information that was given to the writer but never should have been disclosed.
