Special Counsel Found ‘Secret’ and ‘Confidential’ Documents in Biden Possession

For Joe Biden to have removed classified documents from the White House and retained them is quite a different situation than what Trump did.

As the VP, Joe Biden did not have the authority to declassify these documents.

When they are removed, they are supposed to be read in a SCIF, then returned to a secure holding facility, but that was clearly not happening with Joe Biden.

Irresponsible

To get the true effect of what Biden was doing, we have to go back to an interview with Joe Biden in September 2022.

Biden was being asked about Trump keeping classified documents at Mar-a-Lago during a “60 Minutes” interview.

Biden seemed aghast, asking, “How could anyone be that irresponsible.”

Biden added, "I thought, what data was in there that may compromise sources and methods? And by that, I mean, names of people who help etc., and it's just totally irresponsible."

Now let’s fast forward to Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report on Biden’s handling of classified information, where we are now finding out some details about the documents that Biden had at his Penn office as well as in the garage of his Delaware home.

The report found that Biden had documents marked both “secret” and “classified,” and this included a call sheet with talking points for a conversation with then-Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk.

Biden also had a report with the subject line of “U.S. Energy Assistance to Ukraine.”

When you consider Hunter Biden’s business deals in Ukraine, that is about as relevant as it gets.

Hunter was appointed to the board of Ukraine energy company Burisma Holdings in 2014, and there in Dad’s garage was information directly related to his position.

Hur noted in the report that “no reasonable jury could conclude the call or its contents were national defense information,” but that is not really the issue here.

I would be more concerned about the question of Joe Biden taking information from the White House that would help Hunter Biden’s business activities and after seeing the subject of some of these documents, it would take a lot of convincing to get me to believe that was not the case here.

Hur also stated that Joe Biden “willfully retained and disclosed classified materials after his vice presidency when he was a private citizen.”

I would love to know who he disclosed that information to because that is at the heart of the impeachment inquiry taking place in the House.
