A non-profit backed by leftist billionaire George Soros has reportedly violated federal disclosure law, according to a new report.
The organization, Alianza Americas, repeatedly refused to produce its 2021 990 Form after multiple requests.

"Alianza Americas, which had garnered more than $1.5 million from Soros' Open Society Foundations, violated IRS law by not producing its 2021 990 Form within 30 days of a written request. The Examiner sent the first written request for Alianza's tax forms on Nov. 28 and followed up with a second and third request on Dec. 23 and Dec. 27, respectively," Fox News reported.
"The publication said it sought the records to verify whether Alianza participated in lobbying in 2021," it added.
The organization has sued Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis for his leadership in flying two planes of migrants to Martha's Vineyard last year.

"The two flights of migrants drew national attention and came as DeSantis regularly criticizes the Biden administration on border policy and the handling of undocumented immigrants," the Orlando Sentinel wrote.
"The state has paid $1.565 million to Vertol for the Martha's Vineyard flights and, potentially, for additional flights of migrants to 'sanctuary' communities, according to state records," it added.
If the Soros-backed group is found guilty of non-compliance, the organization could face up to $10,000 in fines per day, according to Fox News.
The concerning development from the open-border supporting group offers a look at one of the multiple organizations Soros has influenced in targeting conservatives.
The latest effort has instead led to pushback against the organization which could have an impact on the group's lawsuit against DeSantis. in the situation.
