Soldiers Killed in Drone Strike Identified

Three soldiers recently lost their lives after a successful drone attack that targeted a base in Jordan.

The base was targeted because it was housing American troops.

There were at least 40 injuries and three deaths, and the names of those who sacrificed their lives have finally been revealed.

Now We Know

The strike, carried out by an Iraq-backed militia group is one of many that have taken place recently, but this is clearly the most devastating attack, with three service members losing their lives.

The soldiers are all from Georgia, identified as Sgt. William Jerome Rivers, 46, of Carrollton, Georgia; Spc. Kennedy Ladon Sanders, 24, of Waycross, Georgia; and Spc. Breonna Alexsondria Moffett, 23, of Savannah, Georgia.

The attack took place at an outpost in Jordan called Tower 22.

In addition to the three deaths mentioned above, there were more than three dozen injured, a number that could go up in the coming days.

Reports are now surfacing that the reason the drone was not intercepted was that there seemed to be some confusion at the time of the attack regarding friendly and enemy drone activity.

The Pentagon has been relatively quiet on the matter, with Deputy Pentagon spokeswoman Sabrina Singh stating, “We are still assessing what happened and how a one-way attack drone was able to impact the facility.

“U.S. Central Command continues to investigate this attack, and for operations security and force protection reasons, we’re not going to discuss further specifics or measures we’re taking to prevent such actions or as future attacks.”

Since mid-October, there have been more than 160 attacks carried out against U.S. forces stationed in the Middle East, with the majority taking place in Iraq and Syria.

Joe Biden is now under heavy pressure to conduct a strike to send a clear message that the loss of life of American troops is unacceptable.

Republicans continue to push the narrative that Biden’s weakness is the reason behind these attacks, as our enemies no longer fear the United States.
