Once again, we have police officers dying in a blatant ambush.
The latest attack took place in Connecticut.
Two officers were killed in the ambush, with a third officer being injured.
Bristol Police stated, “Bristol Police received a 911 call reporting a possible domestic violence incident between two siblings at 310 Redstone Hill Road.
“Preliminary information appears to point to the 911 call being a deliberate act to lure law enforcement to the scene.”
Nicholas Brutcher was lying in wait and opened fire on the officers as soon as they arrived.
Sgt. Dustin Demonte and Officer Alex Hamzy were both killed.
Officer Alec Iurato was wounded and was taken to surgery.
The statement continued, “This is a very complex, ongoing investigation led by detectives from the Connecticut State Police Major Crimes Unit at the request of the Office of the Chief State’s Attorney.”
