Sexual Misconduct Allegations Against Recent Democrat Party Defector
I don’t know if the charges against California State Sen. Marie Alvarado-Gil are true or not, but they are predictable.
Alvarado-Gil recently moved from the Democrat Party to the GOP, so you just knew there would be some scandal attached to her name.
I do have to admit, however, I never expected something like this.
Salacious Allegations
Alvarado-Gil is facing some rather disturbing allegations from former Chief of Staff Chad Condit.
Condit called Alvarado-Gil an "erratic" and "controlling" boss who imposed a "sexually dominating abuse of authority and power" over him.
His suit alleges, "This was a sex-based quid pro quo relationship of unwelcome advances and sexual behaviors coupled with punishment and flexing of power.”
He would go on to claim that his boss forced him to perform oral sex on her in the car in a manner in which he was left with several herniated discs and a collapsed hip.
According to Condit, the manner in which he was forced to contort his body during these acts led to his condition.
Alvarado-Gil’s attorney, Ognian Gavrilov, responded, "A disgruntled former employee has fabricated an outlandish story, presented without evidence, to get a payday.
"We expect that the Senator will be fully cleared of any wrongdoing of these bogus, financially motivated claims."
Secretary of the Senate Erika Contreras also responded, stating, "The Senate has not been served in this matter, but we are in discussion with counsel to assess next steps.
"The Senate takes all complaints incredibly seriously, but is unable to comment on matters involving pending litigation."
It does appear that nothing will be done to Alvarado-Gil until this legal situation has played out.
This is just a bizarre case, so I really don’t want to say anything because who knows how the courts will rule?
Is it a revenge plot for someone who has changed parties, or are the allegations true, and the newest Republican is a secret pervert who likes to dominate staffers?
That answer will be discovered soon enough.
