Serial Mar-a-Lago Trespasser Seeking Contact with Donald Trump Arrested

A serial trespasser who’s attempted to sneak into President-elect Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate multiple times was arrested on Thursday.

Just days after the election, and more concerningly after multiple attempts on Trump's life, 39-year-old Zijie Li was arrested for attempting to enter Mar-a-Lago's grounds -- and not for the first time.

Li reportedly wanted to speak with Trump and has attempted to break through security at Mar-a-Lago on several occasions, which is no small feat considering the beefed-up protection Trump has.

Ever since a lone gunman was spotted setting up to take a shot at Trump at his West Palm Beach golf course, the Secret Service has been extremely on edge, and Li's repeated intrusions are not looked upon kindly.

Li's bond was set at $100,000 on Friday, and he is facing charges of trespassing.

Securing Mar-A-Lago

Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate has become a fortress of sorts after multiple attempts on Trump's life, and that was the case even before he became the President-elect.

The president-to-be spends much of his personal time and even will work and conduct meetings at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida.

Li reportedly wanted to speak with Trump and knew that the president-elect was likely to be present, in that he has been conducting meetings and celebrating victory in Florida since Tuesday.

A native of China, Li reportedly told the Secret Service that he had information alleging that Beijing was involved in the July 13 assassination attempt on Trump at a rally in Pennsylvania.

Li ended up being institutionalized under Florida’s Baker Act, which allows for involuntary mental health treatment after he tried to access Mar-a-Lago again with help from a local.

It seems that Li is a mentally disturbed individual, but that fact isn't making the Secret Service any happier. Protecting Trump and his emerging Cabinet is going to be a lot of work, and Li's antics haven't made things easy.

Threats on Trump's life

Trump has survived two assassination attempts, and there have been multiple plots on his life.

Just this week, the Department of Justice announced indictments against multiple conspirators who were reportedly acting on behalf of Iran and planned to try and kill Trump.

Trump has a massive target on his back thanks to his opposition to America's enemies as well as from the violent rhetoric that Democrats have hurled at him throughout the recent election cycle.

Democrats claimed that Trump was an existential threat to the nation for months, and that no doubt played a role in influencing unhinged actors to commit drastic acts. Trump and his family will continue to be in danger as long as Democrats continue to demonize and slander them.
