Senator Kennedy Facing Backlash After Kamala Harris Comments

Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) made some comments this week that did not sit very well with the White House, or Democrats and liberal pundits in general.

Kennedy hammered the intelligence of Vice President Kamala Harris, saying that she “is not capable,” adding that “when her IQ gets to 75, she should sell.”

Now Kennedy is being attacked as racist.

Kennedy Gets Slammed

Kennedy immediately got ripped on social media with the usual rhetoric, being called “racist,” “misogynistic,” “disgusting and unnecessary,” and “hateful.”

White House Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates and Democratic National Committee Chair Jaime Harrison were among those who openly called out Kennedy.

Bates stated, "Shameful and undignified comments like these from [Kennedy] start a fire sale on one’s credibility.”

Harrison added, "Bless his heart. [G]uess Senator Foghorn is a bit upset that our VP has done more for the working families of Louisiana than he has done over the entirety of his unproductive Senate career."

In addition to his comments about Harris, Kennedy slammed the entire Biden administration for making a huge lurch to the left.

He claimed the Biden administration "has embraced the neo-socialist, woke wing, loon wing of the Democratic Party. I mean, just look around. The American people might be poorer under President Biden, but they're not stupid.

"They see an open border. They experience inflation. They see the rampant crime.

"The American people look around and see the world on fire — the war in Ukraine, the war in the Middle East, the embers smoldering in China — and they have concluded that, fair or unfair."

It is just rather amusing that all things that Democrats have said about Trump, Speaker Johnson, and the MAGA movement in general get zero reaction from the media.

Kennedy makes a comment about Harris’ intelligence, which is clearly in question right now, and all of a sudden racist allegations are being tossed around.
