Fetterman: Trump Case Politically Motivated, Pardon in Order
Sen. John Fetterman just about caused a meltdown on “The View” this week.
Fetterman was discussing the Trump and Hunter Biden cases.
The Pennsylvania Senator suggested that Trump’s New York case was politically motivated, as he believes the Hunter Biden case was, and he suggested pardoning Trump in the case.
Biden Can’t Pardon Trump
Joe Biden could pardon Trump for the Special Counsel cases, but the New York case brought by Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg is a state case, so Biden does not have the power to pardon him in that case.
However, Biden could reach out to New York Governor Kathy Hochul for the pardon, but I just don’t see that happening or Hochul agreeing to a pardon.
Regardless, this was Fetterman on “The View” discussing the two cases…
I don’t think anyone can deny the case against Trump in New York was politically motivated, especially when you consider the timeline of the charges.
The DA’s office had previously declined to file charges against Trump in this case, and it was only after a Biden DOJ official joined Bragg’s office that the charges were filed.
And because the statute of limitations had run out on the misdemeanor charges, the ledger entries were stacked to create three dozen felony counts against Donald Trump.
You would have to be blind as a bat not to see that the case was politically motivated.
As far as Hunter goes, the case received national attention because of who Hunter is, but the fact of the matter is that he broke the law and failed to pay his taxes.
There are people who go to court every day on these charges, so I am not buying that the case was politically motivated.
But I do know that Hunter has been getting out of trouble his entire life because of his father, and this case was no different.
I guess some people are truly above the law… Hunter being one of them.
