Saddle up and let’s do this one more time.
Senator Warnock (D-Ga) and Herschel Walker are headed to a runoff election.
Warnock won the day, but he just missed the 50 percent threshold, so the third candidate in the race will be dropped, and Walker and Warnock will have a runoff on December 6.
Do It Again
Walker trailed for much of this race but made a big push toward the end.
A third-party candidate only received about two percent of the vote, but it was enough to keep either candidate from getting to the threshold needed to secure the Senate seat.
Typically, runoff elections benefit the GOP candidate, but Georgia has been off the rails as of late.
Abortion was clearly an issue for voters in this election, much more so than polling indicated, so I am not overly confident that Walker will take this, but I do believe he has a very real shot at winning.
If Blake Masters does not win in Arizona, this seat, again, will dictate which party has control.
This means you are going to see a lot of headliners and money from both sides trying to snag this seat.
