Secret Service Being Sued for DEI Policies by Women’s Group
Well, now I have heard it all.
During the first Trump assassination attempt, it was made public that then-Director Kimberly Cheatle of the Secret Service had put a DEI policy in place after being hired to ensure more women were hired by the agency, promoting gender over qualifications.
A woman’s group is now suing the agency over a policy it claims was harmful to women.

May Mailman, director of the group's Independent Women's Law Center, explained to Fox News why they were suing.
She stated, "In our country, it is illegal for the government to discriminate on the basis of sex. That is the Constitution's 14th Amendment.
"But also Title VII prohibits employers from discriminating on the basis of sex.
“And yet you have the Secret Service, of all agencies, saying that they want to have a 30 percent female quota."
She is dead right, especially when you have agencies like the Secret Service or other law enforcement agencies where standards cannot be ignored.
We all saw what took place during the first assassination attempt of Trump.
There were female agents assigned to his team that were not tall enough to cover him, one hid behind the podium, and another bent over to pick up Trump’s hat, leaving his entire torso and head exposed, and one agent could not even holster her weapon properly. It was like a Keystone Cops skit.
As I have stated before, had there been a second shooter, Trump would be dead today. Of that, I have no doubt.
I have nothing against women agents. If they can do the job, by all means, hire them. However, they should never be hired over a more qualified candidate simply because of race or gender.
Mailman agreed, stating, "I am sure it is not easy to be a woman in any male-dominated field, including the Secret Service. But as we all remember, when the pictures of that day came out, it was immediately like these women are all cops, and they can't find their holster.
"All of the blame seems to be on women, including Kim Cheatle, all the way down. That's what happens when you have quota systems ... you turn women into tokens.
“That makes it really hard for women who are trying to be respected and earn their way into male-dominated fields."
When you hire people who are unqualified to hit a quota, you create a bigger microscope over the demographic that actually earned the position, not to mention the inconvenience of putting people’s lives at risk.
