Second Gentleman Accused of Domestic Assault
Kamala Harris has a monster problem on her hands thanks to her husband.
Reports broke this week that an alleged ex-girlfriend of Emhoff’s claims he hit her while they were in France in 2012.
On Thursday, Emhoff denied the allegations.
Election Bombshell
The allegation stated that Emhoff and “Jane” were at the Cannes Film Festival at the time of the alleged assault.
She claims that Emhoff and the woman were drinking heavily, and in the early hours of the morning, they went to a taxi stand to get a ride.
The line was long, so she approached the valet, touching him on the shoulder to get his attention, and offered him money to put them at the front of the line.
Emhoff reportedly thought she was flirting and slapped her so hard she “spun around.”
She told the story to numerous friends, and the claim is backed up by photos of Emhoff and “Jane,” as well as travel documents to prove the trip.
It was also alleged that Emhoff joked about it the next day.
Emhoff’s office responded, "This report is untrue.
“Any suggestion that he would or has ever hit a woman is false."
The woman also claimed that Emhoff boasted of paying off his nanny with an $80,000 payoff and an NDA to keep her mouth shut about their affair, which was also recently confirmed.
So, here is the problem… #MeTook backer Kamala Harris was very vocal during the Kavanaugh confirmation hearings that when a woman comes forward, she is to be believed until proven otherwise.
During that time, Harris had posted, “Wore black today in support of all survivors of sexual assault or abuse. We won’t let them be silenced or ignored. #BelieveSurvivors.”
In 2017, she also posted, “We need to take crimes against women and children more seriously — crimes like human trafficking, domestic violence, and child abuse.”
By Harris’ own words, she must believe the victim over her husband until he can prove without a doubt he did not hit that woman.
Trump just got hit with a bombshell of his own with the Smith filing, but this could be exactly what he needs to offset the new cycle, especially when you consider Democrats have hoisted Emhoff up as the modern example of what masculinity should be.
