Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Arrested After Grand Jury Indictment

The announcement that everyone has been waiting on has finally come.

After months of reports about the alleged activity of music industry mogul Sean Combs, an indictment has finally come down.

Combs was arrested on Monday night in Manhattan.

No Charges Announced

While Combs was arrested, the charges he is facing have not yet been announced.

Combs, also known as Diddy and Puff Daddy, was a major player in the rise of hip-hop worldwide.

He literally created an empire by snatching up-and-coming talent and making them global sensations.

Among the artists that are or were in his stable are the Notorious B.I.G., Mary Jay Blige, and Usher.

Combs has been rocked by sexual misconduct allegations, most recently by his former girlfriend, Casandra Ventura.

Ventura filed a suit against Combs last November, and it was one of the worst accusations Combs had faced.

Suddenly, there were rumors of manipulation, sexual assaults, and sex trafficking, and Combs did not exactly have a clean past before that suit was filed, so everyone just started to pile on.

Even though Combs settled the suit with Ventura, the floodgates were opened and numerous other allegations were made.

The next thing we heard, federal agents had raided Combs’ homes in California and Florida.

Combs denied all allegations in all case, including the Ventura case, but he lost all credibility when a video surfaced showing him physically assaulting Ventura. To be quite honest, the video was stomach-turning, it was so violent.

Since these lawsuits and allegations have surfaced, Combs has been watching his financial empire slowly fall. He has already sold off his stake in Revolt and DeLeon tequila.

He also listed the LA home that was raided by federal agents for $61.5 million.

It is of note that DHS was involved in the investigation, which is the federal agency tasked with investigating claims of human trafficking.

My guess here is that this will be a long and ugly court battle for Combs, but once one wall falls, just as we saw with the allegations coming in, the floodgates will open.

It is rather tough to fathom Combs beating any significant charges levied against him with the dominoes we have seen fall so far.
