Same Dems Who Pushed 25th Amendment to Remove Trump Remain Silent on Biden
Joe Biden’s debate performance made it pretty clear to most people that Biden is not all there.
If Biden did not test positive for early-stage Alzheimer’s or dementia, I would be shocked.
Even so, for all those Democrats who were calling on Trump’s cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment against him, not a single one of them has yet to suggest the same for a clearly struggling Biden.
Remove Him from Office
Among the top Democrats to have called for Trump to be removed were Reps. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Pramila Jayapal (D-WA), Jamie Raskin (D-MD), Maxine Waters (D-CA), and Senator Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.).
Fox News reached out to all of them to see what they had to say about using the 25th against Joe Biden, but as of this report, not a single one of them had responded to the request for comment.
The key to using the 25th to remove a sitting president is to get the sitting VP on board.
While Kamala Harris is clearly chomping at the bit to get behind the Resolute Desk, she does not appear to be in any hurry to embarrass Biden like that.
She is already disliked by both sides of the aisle, but a move like that would probably end her career due the sheer volume of allies that Joe Biden has in the party.
While Democrats are not willing to take this up to this point, Republicans are starting to apply pressure.
For instance, Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA) stated, "Over the past 3 years, it has become painfully clear that our inaugurated President has slipped into a rapid decline.
"As a Christian principled nation, We the People must revere our elders and shelter them from unnecessary struggle and anguish.
“The 25th Amendment allows America to respond to this moment of crisis by gently removing President Biden from the world’s most powerful elected position. It’s the right thing to do, the Christian thing to do."
To be honest, it should not even be coming to this, but I have a feeling that Jill Biden is the one standing behind Biden, pushing him forward.
For now, it will be Biden, and I feel fairly confident that regardless of the pressure applied by the GOP, the 25th will never be invoked against Biden.
