RNC Scores First Teamsters Donation In 20 Years After Trump Meeting

Donald Trump was just able to do something that the RNC hasn't been able to accomplish in 20 years.

He just scored a donation from the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.

The Teamsters is a labor union based in the United States and Canada.

It's pretty old as well, with a history dating back to 1903, when it was formed due to a merger of the Team Drivers International Union and the Teamsters National Union.

The union now represents both blue and white-collar workers in the public and private sectors.

The Teamsters represents well over a million people.

The union has gone by various names in the past, including the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Chauffeurs, Warehousemen, and Helpers of America.

The Teamsters certainly has a rich history as one of the most powerful unions in America, but it's one that Republicans have been working without the support of for literally decades.

Now, after one meeting with Donald Trump, that all seems to have changed.

Trump was able to do what no Republican had been able to do for decades, namely, secure a donation from the Teamsters.

Last month, union leadership voted to approve a $45,000 donation to the Republican National Committee's convention fund.

Not everyone in the Teamsters is happy about the decision.

With such a large and diverse group of members, any decision is sure to seem to upset at least some of them.

What really mattered in this scenario was what the leadership wanted though. It appears as though what it wanted is what many Americans want:

To support Donald Trump.

Trump may be a rich man, but he's been amazing at standing up for the smaller people in America.

If ordinary Americans are going to survive the left's bully tactics, it's because we have somebody like Donald Trump fighting for us.

Let's hope that doesn't stop anytime soon.
