When the riot at the Capitol broke out, most believed it would be the end of Donald Trump’s political career, and it very well may be.
Trump is still fighting legal battles on this front, and there may be more.
Joe Rogan, however, believes this may have all been a setup, one that was meant to take down Trump.
They Set Him Up
We know for a fact federal agencies had undercover operatives that were at the riot and pretending to be Trump supporters, even encouraging people on.
To that point, Rogan stated, “The Jan. 6 thing is bad, but also, the intelligence agencies were involved in provoking people into the Capitol building. That’s a fact.
“I think that every other person who was involved in Jan. 6 — who was involved in coordinating a break-in into the Capitol and then instigating people — they were all arrested. This guy wasn’t,” reported the New York Post.
Rogan was referring to Ray Epps, who was allegedly working for federal agents. Epps has since filed a defamation suit against Fox News for on-air claims that he was instigating the riot.
Epps may have to add another person to that lawsuit, as Rogan stated, “Well, he clearly instigated. He did it on camera.”
Rogan continued, “I don’t know if he was a fed. I know a lot of people think he was a fed. The people that were there were calling him a fed. What I do know is when they asked the FBI, the FBI said, ‘We can’t tell you,’” reported the Daily Beast.
Rogan goes on to claim that Trump’s remarks about our intelligence agencies being inept and corrupt may have triggered this setup…
Joe Rogan Blows Jim Gaffigan’s Mind That Intelligence Agencies May Have Infiltrated Jan 6th
“Trump was very open about his disdain for the intelligence agencies…Throughout history people of unchecked power and unchecked influence have enemies, and Trump was their enemy.” pic.twitter.com/7MxC5B49ND

I have always stated that I thought it was foolish of Trump to attend that rally, but I have also stated that the cause of the riot needed to be better investigated, especially the idea of the feds encouraging violence.
They have done it in other parts of the world, why not in our own backyard?
