RFK Jr. Wins Appeal to Remove Name from NC Ballot

Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has won his appeal to get his name removed from North Carolina's presidential ballot in a decision on Friday.

The North Carolina Court of Appeals issued a decision on Friday reversing a lower court ruling that found RFK Jr.'s name would not be removed from the ballot ahead of November's election.

The outcome is great news for former President Donald Trump, as Democrats hoped to keep Kennedy's name on the ballot in hopes it would lead to votes being diverted away from the Republican.

North Carolina will be a hotly contested swing state, and Democrats are using every trick they can to give Vice President Kamala Harris an advantage.

The irony of this all is Democrats are trying to manipulate voters and engage in bad-faith tactics to gain the upper hand. This is the same political party that screeches about democracy and about ensuring voters aren't disenfranchised.

Win For Trump

Following the ruling, the North Carolina Board of Elections is now “enjoined from disseminating ballots” listing Kennedy as a candidate for the presidency.

This decision overrules an earlier decision from Wake County Superior Judge Rebecca Holt who found that Kennedy’s name must remain on the state’s ballots.

This decision was particularly important as North Carolina is one of the first states that will begin sending out early voting ballots which were supposed to be sent to residents beginning Friday.

Considering the decision wasn't made until that same day, North Carolina Counties held off on mailing their ballots on Friday morning due to Kennedy’s appeal.

Kennedy announced his decision to drop out of the race and endorse Trump on Aug. 23, but it has taken two weeks to have his name removed from the ballot thanks to Democrats fighting to keep it there.

For Democrats, the motive was simple; keep Kennedy on the ballot and divert voters from Trump in a crucial swing state that Kamala Harris has to win.

North Carolina Will Be Crucial

Thanks to the North Carolina Court of Appeals, this move has failed catastrophically and exposed Democrats as not really caring about election integrity or the citizens' franchise.

North Carolina is one of a handful of key swing states that will decide the outcome of the election, and Harris needs every advantage she can get. Trump is crushing Harris on the economy and foreign policy and there is little sign of the VP gaining momentum.

In fact, all signs point to Harris collapsing in the home stretch, especially as her initial  honeymoon phase has come to an end. Democrats might need to escalate their election interference tactics if they want a chance at winning in November.
