RFK Jr. Says He Now Qualifies for Texas Ballot… Bad News for Trump

So far, Kennedy has qualified in only a handful of states for the presidential election, mostly in states where he will hurt Biden more than Trump.

That changed this week when Kennedy announced that he had qualified for the ballot in Texas.

This could be one state where Kennedy could hurt Trump more than Biden.

Problems Brewing

Even though Kennedy has only qualified in about six states so far, his campaign is adamant that he will be on the ballot in every state.

In many states, this was just a matter of Kennedy having to name a VP before collecting signatures to be added.

Now polling at 16% nationally, I doubt he will have any problems getting on ballots in every state in the country.

In most polls, Kennedy is taking a point or two away from Biden, but polling has shown that Kennedy could hurt Trump more than Biden in Texas.

Now, Trump is currently leading Biden by 10 points in Texas, with Kennedy only polling at around 12.6% in three-way polling, so I would not fret too much just yet.

Former Rep. David Jolly (R-FL) seems to be worried about Kennedy, however,

He stated, “I still think RFK Jr. could take more from Republicans, and I think that’s why Donald Trump’s attacking him.

“He is a MAGA-crazy Republican. He’s a vaccine-denier.

“He denies science, he flip-flops on the issue of abortion, and even his own VP candidate can’t keep up with where he is day to day on the most important issue going into November.”

I think Jolly is a bit off his rocker but I also believe that with Biden’s troubles regarding Israel, Kennedy could land a significant chunk of the younger voting, making this a very interesting race.

That said, I expect Trump and Biden both to take off the gloves and look to take Kennedy out of this race in their respective key states.
