Resurfaced videos from Barron Trump's childhood go viral
In the wake of his father's successful presidential campaign in which he reportedly played a significant role, former -- and future -- first son Barron Trump is garnering a whole new level of public interest.
Adding to the sensation surrounding Donald Trump's youngest son is a recently resurfaced video in which a then-10-year-old Barron shared a few tender moments with sister Ivanka Trump's son Theodore, who was only 10 months old at the time, as the Daily Mail reports.
Family moments captured
In the footage, Barron Trump can be seen among a group of family members and administration officials on Inauguration Day in 2017, when his father took office for his first term.
While his father signed what was likely important paperwork at the start of his administration, Barron can be seen standing next to Ivanka Trump, who held young Theodore in her arms.
It was then that Barron engaged the baby in a game of peek-a-boo, sparking smiles not just from the small child, but also from the adults nearby, including Ivanka and the new first lady, Melania Trump.
Other video gems, revealed
The surge in curiosity about Barron Trump has led to recent re-airing of other historic footage of the incoming first son, including a clip from a 2009 Entertainment Tonight interview in which Melania Trump was seen interacting with her son on the red carpet at a glittering event, as HOLA! notes.
Mrs. Trump remarked at the time, “We are very happy to be here, and Barron will have a great time,” and the then-three-year-old little boy began to hold forth about his love for the drums.
The exchange between mother and son was notable for many due to the discernible Slovenian accent used by the boy, evidence of his close relationship not just with his mother, but also her parents.
In yet another recently revealed clip from a 2010 interview with late television host Larry King, Barron can be seen paying a visit to his famous father's office.
Barron's accent was heard once again when he expressed admiration for his “suitcase” and discussed his day's itinerary with both parents.
Bright future ahead
Barron Trump received a great deal of praise over the course of his father's recent campaign, primarily for his role in connecting his dad with a series of podcast appearances that led to blockbuster ratings and positive exposure to an important voter demographic.
Now that the incoming first son is well into his first semester at New York University's Stern School of Business, it is clear that the world will continue to watch what comes next for a young man with boundless opportunities ahead.
