Rep. Thomas Massive shares news of wife's death

Republican U.S. Representative Thomas Massie of Kentucky has reported tragic news.

His wife of over 35 years has died.

Rhonda Massie was Rep. Massie’s high school sweetheart.

The two had been inseparable ever since they met when they were just kids.

Massie took to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, to share the heart-wrenching announcement.

“Yesterday my high school sweetheart, the love of my life for over 35 years, the loving mother of our 4 children, the smartest kindest woman I ever knew, my beautiful and wise queen forever, Rhonda went to Heaven. Thank you for your prayers for our family in this difficult time,” Massie wrote in the recent post on X.

While the cause of Rhonda Massie’s death has not been confirmed, one thing is known:

She was an incredible human being.

The outpouring of love and condolences Rep. Massie has received since sharing the news has been absolutely incredible.

Rep. James Comer took to X to share that “TJ and I are deeply saddened by the news of Rhonda Massie’s passing. Rhonda was a beautiful person both inside and out. Our hearts go out to my colleague and dear friend Thomas Massie and his entire family.”

Rep. Brett Guthrie was another who shared his condolences on X.

“My thoughts and prayers are with [Representative Thomas Massie] and the entire Massie family following this terrible loss. Rhonda was an incredible woman. Beth and I stand with you and your family during this difficult time,” Guthrie wrote.

The list of condolences Massie received on X goes on and on.

While it does not make this tragedy easier, we hope that Massie can take peace and comfort in knowing what a light his wife was to the world.

We pray for Rep. Massie during this unbelievably difficult time and hope he and his children.
