Rep. Nancy Mace And Her Fiancé Call It Quits

It didn't take long for this couple to go down in flames.

For those who may not be familiar, Republican Rep. Nancy Mace (SC) is someone who had been rumored as a possible running mate for GOP frontrunner Donald Trump in 2024.

Now, Mace is in the spotlight for a much different reason.

She is going through a nasty separation from her fiancé, Patrick Bryant.

Prior to their engagement, Mace had dated Bryan for less than two years. Back in May of 2022, Bryan popped the question, and Mace accepted.

It seemed like a fairy tale.

Now, only 18 months since that fateful day, the 46-year-old mother of two is dealing with serious repercussions regarding her decision.

The pair are now broken up. Mace has found herself smackdab in the middle of an incredibly chaotic legal battle.

They were just engaged, right? What's there to fight over?

Unfortunately for Mace, she purchased a $3.9 million dollar home with Bryant before tying the knot, making it a tricky situation.

It doesn't stop there.

The pair also are fighting over a second $1.3 million dollar home.

It seems Mace may have tried to downplay the situation when reporters questioned her about her separation from Bryan.

"I'm not Taylor Swift. No one gives a damn about my relationship status," said Mace to DailMail.com after they asked her about her disputes with Bryant.

That's where she is wrong.

Anyone who is even being considered as a candidate to become Trump's vice president is someone that has America's attention when strife arises in their personal life.

If you have gone through a separation, you know just how painful and ugly they can be. It is hard not to speculate and wonder if Mace would be the right pick for Trump's number-two with how raw her separation is from Bryant.

Whom do you think former President Donald Trump should pick as his running mate when the time comes?
