REPORT: Top Democrat Steered Biden Official to Bragg’s Office

Over the last few months, there have been some very interesting developments in the prosecution of Donald Trump by Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg’s office.

This all centers around Michael Colangelo, who was part of Bragg’s prosecution team after leaving the Biden administration.

It now appears that this entire move was crafted by a very powerful Democrat with close ties to Joe Biden.

Rigged?

To give you background on this, Michael Colangelo was a member of the Department of Justice prior to going to work for Alvin Bragg.

Prior to that, he had been paid by the DNC rather handsomely as a consultant.

When Colangelo applied to work for the New York Attorney General’s office, his two top references for the position were Tom Perez, then Chairman of the Democratic National Committee, and Jeff Zients, now President Joe Biden’s chief of staff.

This has all the signs of a Democrat hit job, a narrative that Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) is already pushing.

Keep in mind that the Attorney General’s office had previously declined to prosecute Trump.

Had the charges initially been filed, this would have been nothing more than a misdemeanor, and likely resulted in a fine and penalty for Trump.

Instead, the charges were turned into 34 felony indictments, the only way that Bragg could prosecute the case at that point.

Ken Blackwell, chairman of the Conservative Action Project and chairman of the Center for Election Integrity at the America First Policy Institute (AFPI), broke it all down, stating, “Colangelo’s citing the former chair of the DNC and Joe Biden’s current White House Chief of Staff as recommendations for the New York prosecutor job is the latest evidence that Colangelo is one of the architects of the lawfare against President Trump, and that the Biden White House is behind the weaponization,.

“Americans should demand an end to the Left’s hijacking the power of criminal prosecution as the centerpiece of Biden’s trying to interfere with the 2024 election.”

Garland, of course, had denied having dispatched Colangelo, but everyone in this administration is a serial liar, so we cannot take a single word they have said at face value.

You guys know I have ripped Republicans in the past for wasting time and our taxpayer dollars on useless investigations, but I assure you, that is not the case here.

Jordan needs to pull on this thread hard to ensure they can wrap this up before the end of this term just in case Republicans lose the House in November.
