REPORT: Prince William Tasked with Saving Monarchy
The royals have not exactly had many positive headlines, and things are getting worse after a $56 million windfall and the problems with Prince Harry and Prince Andrew.
To that point, it is now being reported that Prince William, the heir to King Charles, is taking a more active role than would be expected.
William is reportedly absorbing duties that would normally be assigned to the King, as well as being tasked with saving the reputation of the monarchy.
Saving the Day
British royal expert Hilary Fordwich seems to believe that with King Charles continuing to receive cancer treatments, it is only a matter of time before William takes over.
Rest assured, William will not be waiting around for decades like Charles during Queen Elizabeth’s reign.
To that point, Fordwich stated, "Prince William is dedicated to duty, as imbued in him by Queen Elizabeth II, who tutored him every Sunday regarding his royal duties.
"He’s also under huge generational pressure since the increasing public popularity of the monarchy ranks highest for both him and Princess Catherine."
I have seen other reports that tout William as being very no-nonsense as well as having a heavy hand, and, quite honestly, with Prince Harry and Prince Andrew, he needs to have a heavy hand.
To that point, Fordwich added, "Harry’s whinge fest ‘Spare,’ with its acerbic accusations against the royal family, particularly his denigration of the Princess of Wales, rendered it the ‘final straw’ as William told those around him.”
Whispers among royal experts were that William was quite upset with his young brother writing a tell-all book, and is still bothering him, claiming that Harry “put the family in jeopardy.”
Another palace insider recently stated, "It’s no secret that anyone who pushes back against him will be swiftly shown the door.
"He’s not willing to take any nonsense, and the word is he’s already on his way to being the toughest ruler the family has ever seen."
William also reportedly has an ambitious streak, which is why I believe he will somehow convince Charles that at his age, it would be better to step down and serve as an adviser rather than have to perform the rigorous tasks of a sitting king.
I don’t expect Charles to give up the throne easily, but I do believe this will happen sometime in the next five years or so.
