REPORT: Prince William Seizing Power from Charles
Ever since Queen Elizabeth passed away and the crown fell to Charles, there has been speculation that Charles's time as King would not be long-lived.
Charles just turned 76 and has some significant health issues, even though they are played down by the palace.
Prince William’s actions, however, tell a different story.
Taking the Crown
According to local reports, William, 42, has been slowly but surely seizing power from his father.
He has gradually been taking a much larger role in his royal duties.
He is also apparently someone who is not to be messed with, as those close to the crown say he is putting his foot down, especially when it comes to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle,
The insider stated, “It’s no secret that anyone who pushes back against him will be swiftly shown the door.
“He’s not willing to take any nonsense and the word is he’s already on his way to being the toughest ruler the family has ever seen.”
Perhaps that is why William and Donald Trump seemed to get along so well when Trump last visited with William at the Notre Dame reopening ceremony.
Charles continues to get treatment for cancer that was discovered when he recently underwent a prostate procedure.
Details on his cancer remain vague, with the palace only stating that it was not prostate cancer.
The report on William continued that the prince is looking to trim unnecessary spending.
The palace source stated, “[William] wants expenses to be monitored closely, and any fat trimmed straightaway.
“He doesn’t want there to be any sense that special perks are being handed out to the royals.”
The source continued, “He’s all about the environment, so he’s pushing hard to be front and center in that respect and has put out this edict that the rest of the family needs to get on board with being as green as possible. Private flights and that sort of thing are being frowned on.
“The days of wasteful spending and overconsumption are ending now that William is at the helm.”
William sounds like a true moderate, being fiscally conservative while pushing some liberal agenda issues.
Should make it very interesting once he finally takes the crown, which, by all accounts, will not be much longer.
