REPORT: Over 58,000 Criminal Migrants in New York City

One of the biggest issues with Secretary Mayorkas’ border rules is that he had tossed out our normal immigration laws and took it upon himself to decide who could stay and who should go.  

An automatic disqualifier for remaining in this country previously was having a criminal record.  

To that point, in New York City alone, there are reportedly more than 58,000 criminal illegal immigrants.  

Where to Start 

Donald Trump has promised a massive deportation of illegal immigrants as soon as he takes office.  

His Border Czar, Tom Homan, has already stated that they will start deporting people immediately. 

Proposed Department of Homeland Security Director Kristi Noem is also on board, so this is going to happen. 

The question, then, is where to start.  

Some would say a city like New York City which has nearly 60,000 illegal immigrant criminals would be ideal, but some want the blue cities in this country that have proclaimed sanctuary status to be among the last targeted to punish Democrats.  

All told, there are more than 750,000 illegals in NYC, with more than 58,000 having criminal records (roughly 7% of the illegal migrant population), with just over 1,000 of them being “suspected or known gang members.” 

Throughout the rest of the country, there are another 662,000 criminal migrants, so more than 8.5% of the illegal immigrant population are known criminals (over and above having broken the law to enter the country).  

My guess is that Homan will target those 740,000+ criminals before deporting anyone else, but as I have stated before, this is all going to take time.  

To that point, NYC ICE Director Kenneth Genalo stated it would take a “lifetime” to clear the city of these criminals due to local laws that block ICE from doing its job.  

NYC Mayor Eric Adams said he is willing to sit down and work out a solution with Trump, but he also stated he is not in favor of mass deportations. 

If that is the case, then I say, fine... make it clear you offered to deport the criminal illegals, but the mayor said no, so you went to cities that wanted your help to remove them.  

If Adams and other Democrats want to keep these criminals, they can have them... and they will continue to pay the price in elections.
