REPORT: Obama Weary of Harris’ Chances of Beating Trump in Election

After Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential race, Barack Obama wrote a gushing post on X to support Biden’s decision.

There was something missing from the letter, however.

That being the endorsement of Kamala Harris.

Not Yet

Now, Barack Obama has generally played his endorsement very close to his vest.

He even took a minute to endorse Joe Biden during the 2020 race, so a delayed endorsement is not necessarily a surprise.

What is surprising is the backroom chatter that Obama is not endorsing Harris just yet because he is unsure of her chances of beating Trump.

Now, I am sure that once Harris gets the nod at the convention, Obama will endorse her, but right now it looks like he is waiting to see if another viable candidate pops up.

The report first broke in the New York Post, with an unnamed source, so just know that going in.

The Post claimed its source told them, “Obama’s very upset because he knows she can’t win.

“Obama knows she’s just incompetent — the border czar who never visited the border, saying that all migrants should have health insurance. She cannot navigate the landmines that are ahead of her.

“When you are running for president there are things you can and can’t say.

“Wait until the debate… She can’t debate. She’s going to put her foot in her mouth about Israel, Palestine, Ukraine.

“She’s going to say something really stupid.

“Obama knew this was going to happen, Joe knew this was going to happen. Now she is going to have to answer real questions.”

Again, who knows who the source is, so I take that with a grain of salt, but based on Obama’s actions and words alone, that report could be dead on.

Just know, Obama will not let Harris go the distance without endorsing her campaign, even if he does so begrudgingly. He will endorse the Democratic nominee.
