I believe there are two reasons that Joe Biden is running for president again.
First, he has to… he knows if he does not stay in office, eventually, the corruption will be exposed.
Second, since Trump is running, Biden believes that he may be the only candidate he can beat in a race.
That latter point, however, was a point of warning from former President Barack Obama, according to the Washington Post.
Don’t Get Cocky
Let me address both of these points as well as the Obama warning.
I have stated numerous times that Biden was content being out of politics as long as Democrats were in the White House while he was alive.
When Trump won in 2016, people were getting a little too close to the Biden corruption, so Joe felt as though he had no choice but to run.
With everything that is now coming out about Hunter Biden, Joe has no choice but to run again or risk the whole empire come crumbling down.
When it was clear that Trump was going to run, the decision became a no-brainer for Biden, believing that Trump would be easy pickings for him, regardless of how he was performing.
Obama warned Biden about this, however, telling them that Trump’s followers were “intensely loyal” to the former president, which is 100 percent true, reported the Daily Caller.
If Trump were more likable, let’s face it, Biden would never have been close in 2020, let alone beating him again in 2024.
When you look at what people say about Trump, they love his policies, but Trump’s demeanor and his actions on January 6 have kept moderate Republicans and independents away from him.
Even now, with Joe Biden struggling, the most recent polling has them at dead even.
To that point, Obama is hoping to move the needle, as he has reportedly offered to hit the campaign trail hard for Joe Biden this time around.
Whether all these indictments Trump now faces are legit or a weaponized government matters little to Trump’s base because they are already convinced Biden has weaponized the government against Trump to stop him in 2024.
Trump’s base is not the problem, though… Trump needs those people that voted for him in 2016 and left him in 2020. If he can ever figure out a way to bring them back, he wins going away.
Without them, at best, this is a coin flip.
