REPORT: King Charles’ Reign Could Soon Be Over
Queen Elizabeth was coronated on June 2, 1953, at the very young age of 27.
She would keep her crown for an astonishing seven decades.
Charles, who is already 76, will not have that luxury, and if some rumors are true, he may not be holding the crown much longer.
Time for a Change
King Charles has been a king for little more than two years, but he is already having some rather significant health problems.
Chuck had surgery in January 2024 for an enlarged prostate, where cancer was discovered, although it was not diagnosed as prostate cancer.
His cancer treatment has reportedly gone well, but there is already talk that sometime soon, Charles may have to turn the crown over to Prince William, but you better believe he will hold onto that crown for as long as possible after waiting decades to wear it.
Sometime soon, however, it will be William that takes over, likely to reign for decades like his grandmother had done.
William’s wife, Princess Kate, has also had a cancer scare, but she too is believed to be recovering after her treatment, and she has finally started to pop up in public again.
When Notre Dame was reopened, it was William who met with Donald Trump, appearing very excited to have done so.
In fact, William received high praise from quite a few people regarding how he handled himself during the event.
We may get to see William on the world stage again very soon, as William, Princess Kate, and the King and Queen have all been invited to Trump’s inauguration, although I have not seen a report on who is and who is not coming from the royals.
Something to note is that William and Kate have been taking on more royal duties as of late, now fulfilling the same role that Charles did in the waning days of Queen Elizabeth’s reign.
While the world has seemingly tired of Harry and Meghan, they cannot get enough of William and Kate, so I would predict that there will be significantly more excitement when the crowns are put atop the heads of William and Kate than when Chuck was given the crown.
And if reports are correct, it may not be all that long before we see it happen.
