REPORT: Kennedy Planning on Dropping Out, Endorsing Trump

Over the last few days, reports have been blowing up about Robert F. Kennedy Jr. looking to make deals to drop out of the race.

This started with reports saying he was going to offer his endorsement to Harris for a cabinet position, which Kennedy denied.

However, Kennedy’s VP, Nichole Shanahan, blew up the internet by suggesting they team up with Trump to defeat Harris, and that rumor appears to be true.

Let’s Team Up

When Shanahan made the suggestion during an interview, the Trump team pounced.

Trump was immediately asked about it, and he stated that he liked Kennedy, thought Kennedy was smart, and, if the rumors were true, Trump would definitely consider a position for Kennedy.

The former president stated, “I probably would. I like him a lot. I respect him a lot."

Kennedy then announced that he would soon be giving a campaign speech to address his “path forward.”

It is important to note that both Trump and Kennedy have campaign events scheduled in the Phoenix area on Friday, so now people are starting to wonder if this will be a joint event.

Senator JD Vance (R-OH) was also asked about the rumors, and he provided quite a bit more information than anyone else has given to this point.

He stated, "I haven’t spoken to RFK personally, but I know there’s been a lot of communication back and forth between RFK, between the campaign, between this campaign.

"Look, our argument to RFK, and I’ll make it right now, because, of course, he hasn’t dropped out yet, is, look: If you want a Democratic Party that protected American workers and stood for strong borders, maybe disagreed with Republicans on things like tax policy, that party doesn’t exist anymore."

This would not seem to be about common ground, and if they can find it on an issue that is important enough to Kennedy and Shanahan for them to join a conservative ticket.

The Democrat Party is already trying to spin this, with Mary Beth Cahill, a senior adviser to the Democratic National Committee, stating, “Desperate men do desperate things. RFK Jr. was recruited by MAGA, funded by MAGA, and parroted MAGA talking points.

“No one should be shocked if he formalizes his relationship in an attempt to maintain relevance.”

That tells me Dems are terrified of this union, which is about all I need to do to support it.

Even if conservatives have to bite their tongue to throw Kennedy a bone, it surely is far better than Harris in the White House for four years.
