REPORT: Juvenile Penetrated Secret Service Protection at Mar-a-Lago

Well, my friends, the Secret Service is about to get yet another blackeye.

A report has surfaced that Donald Trump’s Secret Service protection detail was allegedly penetrated in 2023 at Mar-a-Lago.

The culprit… a juvenile who wanted to take a dip in the pool.

Intruder Alert

RealClearPolitics reporter Susan Crabtree has done it again, uncovering a new report about a surprise breach at Mar-a-Lago.

This location offers some challenges because it is a club with members, so the security is a bit of a nightmare for Secret Service with so many people coming and going.

Even so, one would expect that they could handle children breaking through the perimeter, but apparently, that is not the case.

Crabtree reported, “One source said the intruder did a 'cannon-ball' into the pool, but another could only confirm that the young person jumped into the pool.”

The interesting aspect of the report is how the agents were disciplined for the breach.

For instance, a drunk reportedly entered the home of National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan last year, and the two supervisory agents assigned to his detail were immediately removed.

However, for the breach at Mar-a-Lago, there appears to be no discipline on record for the agents who were working that day.

The sloppiness of the Trump detail was also quite evident during the assassination attempt in Pennsylvania.

The agents working on Trump’s detail that day, at least for the most part, were more like Keystone Cops than a presidential protection detail.

When the Secret Service was asked about the Mar-a-Lago breach, it responded, "The juvenile was apprehended and taken into custody by Palm Beach Police Department officers.

“The U.S. Secret Service takes these matters extremely seriously, and at the time, an investigation was immediately launched, and certain U.S. Secret Service personnel were held accountable in accordance with agency protocols.

“We remain thankful to the Town of Palm Beach Police Department and Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office for their response and strong partnership."

It would be nice to know how they were accountable because Trump seems to have the D team on his detail, not what we would expect for a former president.
