REPORT: Hunter dropping laptop lawsuit amid financial struggles

If recent reports are accurate, Hunter Biden is running out of money.

A report just surfaced that Hunter has requested to drop his lawsuit against former Trump staffer Garrett Ziegler.

Hunter had sued Ziegler regarding the alleged hacking of his laptop.

Can’t Afford It

Hunter’s attorneys reportedly sent Ziegler’s attorneys a letter this week, claiming that he wished to drop the suit.

The assumption here is that Hunter has run out of funds, and Kevin Morris, who has been footing the bill for Hunter for the last few years, has shut down his checkbook.

What little assets Hunter did have were burned up in the Palisades wildfires that tore through LA County for most of January.

Hunter was reportedly paying nearly $16,000 per month to rent the home.

I have seen reports that the gallery where Hunter’s art was stored was also destroyed in the fires, leaving Hunter with virtually no assets after the fire.

Ziegler and his non-profit, Marco Polo, published a report of more than 600 pages on the Hunter Biden laptop, and was then sued by Hunter for his alleged illegal activity to obtain the information.

Ziegler does not want the case dropped, however, stating, “Hunter wants to cry uncle. We are opposing that.

“We want our attorneys' fees to be paid, for Hunter to cease lying about us and me, and just generally to shut the f**k up.”

Hunter’s filing stated, “Plaintiff has suffered a significant downturn in his income and has significant debt in the millions of dollars range. Moreover, this lack of resources has been exacerbated after the fires in the Pacific Palisades.”

The filing continued that the suit was fact-based on the alleged hacking of Hunter’s iCloud by Ziegler.

It concluded, “Like many others in that situation, plaintiff has had difficulty in finding a new permanent place to live as well as finding it difficult to earn a living.

“So, plaintiff must focus his time and resources dealing with his relocation, the damage he has incurred due to the fires, and paying for his family's living expenses as opposed to this litigation.”

Judge Hernan Vera is the presiding judge, so he will have the final word in terms of the case being dropped or not.

Hunter reportedly borrowed around $7 million from Kevin Morris to pay his back taxes as well as legal fees and living expenses. I would assume this was on the strength of Hunter’s artwork, but that turned out to be more of a dud (although several pieces did sell at ridiculous prices to Democrat donors).

In all, it was reported that Hunter sold about $1.5 million in artwork, far short of what he was expecting.
