REPORT: Hunter Biden Knew His Buyers Despite White House ‘Ethics’ Plan

Much as many of us have suspected, most of the purchases of Hunter Biden’s artwork were by people that he knew.

This comes about as part of testimony by the art dealer who sold the pieces, Georges Bergès, who testified before the House Oversight Committee.

According to Bergès, about 70% of the money from the purchased artwork was from people that Hunter Biden knew.

Just Another Scam

Two of the biggest contributors to Hunter’s art sales were Elizabeth Hirsh Naftali and Kevin Morris.

Naftali had frequented the White House on numerous occasions, eventually landing a prestigious post by Biden to the Commission for the Preservation of America’s Heritage Abroad.

She also happened to purchase two pieces from Hunter, totaling $94,000.

Some might look at that as a “thank you” to Joe Biden for appointing her to the commission, an allegation that Naftali says is just ludicrous.

Morris, you may recall, is the man who took care of some of Hunter’s tax issues and has been paying some of his living expenses for him.

He purchased $875,000 worth of Hunter’s summer camp watercolors for his collection.

Again, this would just appear to be a way to funnel money to Hunter to help him out because it surely was not an “investment” in a promising young artist.

Art experts have utterly ripped Hunter’s work as well as the prices he fetched for the work, which were more akin to an established artist on the high end of the scale.

House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) stated, “The Biden White House appears to have deceived the American people about facilitating an ethics agreement governing the sale of Hunter Biden’s art.

“Hunter Biden’s gallerist never had any communication with the White House about such an agreement to make sure there was any sort of ethics compliance at all, and he provided information to the committee revealing how Hunter Biden’s amateur art career is an ethics nightmare.

“The vast majority of Hunter Biden’s art has been purchased by Democrat donors, one of whom was appointed by President Biden to a prestigious commission after she purchased Hunter Biden’s art for tens of thousands of dollars shortly after Joe Biden’s inauguration.

“The White House has a lot of explaining to do about misleading the American people.”

The White House has continuously refused to discuss the matter, always referring to Hunter Biden as a private citizen, yet they refuse to address the fact that Hunter and Joe Biden’s interests continue to be intertwined.
