REPORT: Harris May Make Run for California Governor
After her horrific election loss, the future of Kamala Harris is pretty limited.
Outside of California, at this time, it is hard to imagine Harris being elected.
If she wants to repair her image, she will have to be happy with Californian, and reports are now surfacing that may be exactly what is up next for Harris.
Taking Another Shot
After the election loss, Harris all but disappeared from public view.
She gave her concession speech, she made an appearance with Joe Biden on Veteran’s Day, then she ran away to Hawaii to hide for a week.
Reports are now surfacing, however, that she has been working the phones and donor emails to keep that money flowing, promising that she is “staying in the fight.”
This has started a lot of speculation as to what her next move would be.
If Harris wants to run again in 2028, she will need to stay relevant, and that likely means a run in California for office of some sort.
That well may be running for Governor.
As one aide stated, this is not a decision she needs to make any time soon.
The aide confirmed, “She doesn’t have to decide if she wants to run for something again in the next six months.
“The natural thing to do would be to set up some type of entity that would give her the opportunity to travel and give speeches and preserve her political relationships.”
Among others, Lt. Governor Eleni Kounalakis and former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, have expressed interest in running for Governor.
With California voters being completely delusional, however, polling has shown Harris in the lead if she does decide to run.
To me, this is the only way that Harris can create a “new” record of sorts to put the 2024 election behind her.
Personally, I would love to see this happen because I have no doubt she would make that state even worse than it is today, showing how much of a disaster the country avoided by choosing Trump over the Harris-Walz ticket.
