REPORT: Biden Weighting Pre-emptive Pardons for Trump Enemies
Oh, how the narrative has changed.
When Trump was in office and considering pre-emptive pardons for some of his allies, the Democrats lost their minds.
Now, with Joe considering doing the same thing, Democrats are recommending and applauding the possible pardons by Joe Biden.
Pardon Them All
There are numerous names on this pre-emptive list, but the three that caught my interest were Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), Liz Cheney, and Dr. Anthony Fauci.
As far as I can tell, all three of these individuals likely broke the law, yet Biden is going to try to protect them from being prosecuted.
Cheney clearly rigged the January 6 hearings by selectively choosing evidence and tampering with witnesses, and that is just the beginning.
Schiff clearly lied to the American people during the impeachment hearings and is believed to have leaked classified information to the media.
Dr. Fauci also has a laundry list, and some in Congress believe he hid his connection to the COVID virus. Whether he broke the law remains to be seen, but I have no doubt Cheney and Schiff should be investigated.
Reports are now surfacing that White House Counsel and Biden have been meeting to discuss these pardons, but they would likely not be announced until just before Biden left office.
Senator Ed Markey (D-MA) stated, “If it’s clear by January 19th that [revenge] is his intention, then I would recommend to President Biden that he provide those preemptive pardons to people, because that’s really what our country is going to need next year.”
But is it really revenge if these people weaponized the DOJ and broke the law to go after Trump, or is that just justice?
I have been quite open about the fact that I don’t want Trump to dedicate this term to exacting revenge against his political enemies, but I would fully support investigating some of these people, and Cheney and Schiff are at the top of that list.
If they broke the law, they should be held accountable. The rule of law… let’s see how much Democrats respect that now.
