REPORT: Biden May Withdrawal from Race Over Weekend
If his sources are accurate, a plan is already being put in place for Biden to step down.
Halperin claims it could happen as soon as this weekend, possibly on Sunday.
While all this is being reported, however, Biden has remained defiant.
Weighing His Options
According to his report, as part of him stepping down from the campaign, he will NOT resign his presidency, which is a bit of a joke.
If Biden is not capable of campaigning, he surely is not capable of running the country, so that just proves this is all about polling, and Democrats pulling a candidate because they no longer think they can win.
This is about as undemocratic of a move as one can have in this country and it is setting a horrible precedent in terms of taking the choice out of the hands of the American people.
The report also stated that Biden would not endorse Harris, whose team has reportedly backed Biden up against a wall on this.
Remember, the only way the 25th Amendment can be used is if Kamala gets on board, and from the sounds of it, that is what Joe is being threatened with, but that is speculation on my part.
Harris is now reportedly vetting possible running mates, which includes Governor Shapiro from Pennsylvania, a swing state where Trump currently leads both Biden and Harris in polling.
Democrats knew the state of Joe Biden’s health before they endorsed him, so, in essence, they have run a test campaign to see where they needed help, and now they are going to sub in their own candidates to address the needs polling currently dictates.
Finally, if Biden does eventually fold, the Dems will have to hold an open convention with Harris and a handful of other candidates, but this will likely be rigged in Harris’ favor.
Super Delegates will not be able to vote in the first round of balloting.
The GOP has to exploit this blatantly dishonest tactic and honestly, if Joe Biden says he is stepping down for medical reasons, then he must be forced to resign his presidency.
