Rep. Luna Wants to Investigate Secret Service Director for Perjury

If you watched any of Secret Service Director Cheatle's testimony, it seemed fairly obvious that she was spinning right from the start.

That did not sit well with Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL).

Luna is now calling for the House Oversight Committee to investigate possible perjury charges against Cheatle.

She Lied

It would appear that Cheatle definitely lied on the stand while testifying about the assassination attempt against Donald Trump.

Rep. Luna dialed into the Director’s comments regarding the “threat” assessment against Donald Trump.

Rather than paraphrasing what happened, I think you guys are going to want to hear this as it happened…

At the end of her time, Luna, like most Republicans and a handful of Democrats, demanded that Cheatle step down immediately.

Initially, Cheatle was resistant to the calls, but after two days of getting demolished on the Hill, including being exposed as completely incompetent, she decided to call it quits, submitting her resignation to Joe Biden.

Biden accepted the resignation, but rather than calling out Cheatle for her failure, Biden gushed over her as though she did an amazing job.

Over and above the possible perjury charges, I still believe that Cheatle could and should be charged in the death of one civilian as well as other possible charges related to the attempt on Trump’s life.

There is simply no way Congress can allow this horrific failure and breakdown of leadership to go unpunished.

She may think her resignation ends her problems, but rest assured, this is only the beginning.
