Rep. Jim Jordan Says Biden Letter Proves Bribery Case

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) said a letter from President Joe Biden written to Devon Archer in 2011 proves his connection to bribery claims.

Jordan shared the evidence on Martha MacCallum's "The Story" on Thursday.

"I apologize for not getting a chance to talk to you at the luncheon yesterday. I was having trouble getting away from hosting President Hu. I hope I get a chance to see you again soon with Hunter. I hope you enjoyed lunch. Thanks for coming," the letter read.

"Happy you guys are together," the letter continued, referring to his son Hunter and Devon Archer's business together.

"He's the Vice President of the United States, and he's talking about foreign business deals with you, and thanking you for that," Tucker Carlson told Archer during a recent interview.

"At the time, I think I hit the jackpot..but obviously as time has told, being a little bit too close to the sun ends up burning you," Archer answered.

Jordan argued that the letter adds to other evidence showing that President Biden was the "big guy" referred to in other communications.

Biden, who then served as vice president under then-President Barack Obama, has been the target of a lengthy investigation by the House Oversight Committee related to the concerns.

The deals allegedly involved tens of millions of dollars over several years during Biden's time in office.

The controversy continues to cause problems now for Biden as he continues his campaign for a second term in the White House.
