Rep. Burchett: Government Cover-up Regarding UFOs

For months now, there have been all kinds of reports regarding UFOs and how the government has been reporting them.

According to Rep. Burchett (R-TN), the government is not exactly forthcoming with the information it has with the American people.

Burchett made his comments after a recent classified briefing on the matter.

It’s a Cover-up

Wednesday, Burchett made his comments that he does not believe the American people are being told everything regarding UFOs.

He stated, “I think there’s a cover-up.

“There are tens of millions of dollars that we’ve spent investigating these things.

“We’ve had departments tell us that they have recovery units, but they won’t release full reports. Everything’s covered up.”

His comments come after several whistleblowers came forward last year regarding intelligence that the United States government was holding back from the American people.

Burchett explained his reasoning, stating that the government possibly did not think the American people would be able to “handle” the idea that there could be other life forms in the universe.

He explained, “It might be the fact that it’s just plain arrogance — they don’t think we deserve it.

“I can’t tell you how many conversations I’ve had with high-ranking officials that have told me that America really can’t handle this stuff.

“It’s not their position to tell me who or what I can handle; we’re Americans, we ought to be able to take it. Give it to us.”

This has always been something that has fascinated me, and I have to admit, I surely do not believe we are the only life forms in all of this universe.

It sure would be nice to see “all” the evidence the government has on this front just to see if maybe I was watching too much sci-fi as a kid or if there are other planets that have life forms we simply do not know about.
