A rediscovered video of children's television icon Mr. Rogers shows him warning kids against transgenderism four decades ago.
The clip, circulating on TikTok, includes Rogers singing a song about the unique differences between boys and girls.

"Boys are boys from the beginning, girls are girls right from the start. Everybody's fancy, Everybody's fine. Your body's fancy and so is mine," the lyrics state.
"Girls grow up to be the mommies, boys grow up to be the daddies. Everybody's fancy, Everybody's fine. Your body's fancy and so is mine," the following section added.

Rogers also talked about the song during an interview years ago with late-night host Johnny Carson.
"And you know, we laugh about that now, but it's because we had that concern when we were little," Rogers said during the interview.
The clip concluded with Carson ribbing Rogers, saying, "Yeah, because you're really not sure and you thought maybe you'd become a girl, or a girl would become a boy, right?" Rogers responded, "Exactly."

The beloved children's show host has now come back to notoriety in an unexpected way years after his show ended.
