Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) recently attacked Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) in racially-motivated remarks that he is a "prop" and perpetuates "white supremacy," even though he is black.
Donalds has spoken out against the criticisms, with a report showing the response is part of a trend by those on the left.

"Donalds fired back at Bush, and her comments received criticism from figures like Rep. Dan Bishop, R-N.C., on Thursday, who attacked her in a floor speech as Bush was seen smirking by C-SPAN cameras," Fox News reported.
"Republican official Harmeet Dhillon told Fox News Digital of Bush's attack, 'I think this is a common theme from Democrats to stigmatize any African American or really any minority person who dares to think for themselves, and our party is a party of respecting the individual.'"
Working to overturn the 2020 election & embracing Trump MAGA fascism is not you rising, Byron. You’re being used. It helps you politically at the expense of our community. THAT’S what’s shameful.
It’s clear which party promotes white supremacist chaos and which works against it. https://t.co/oriOXObBJi

Bush continued her hate even after Donalds responded publicly with an offer to "sit down" and debate policies.
"Working to overturn the 2020 election & embracing Trump MAGA fascism is not you rising, Byron. You're being used. It helps you politically at the expense of our community. THAT'S what's shameful," she tweeted in response.
"It's clear which party promotes white supremacist chaos and which works against it," she added.
Bush, considered a member of the progressive Democrat squad, has continued to promote defunding police and other liberal policies since being elected to the House.
Her vile attacks on fellow black lawmakers over policy differences have now backfired to show how little substance she brings to her role.
Instead of representing black Americans with strong leadership, she has resorted to personal attacks and racial hatred.
Whether her approach will cost her votes, only time will tell. For now, it's noteworthy to see how Donalds has represented himself despite the attacks from Bush.
