Only a few hours ago, reports started to break that the family of Queen Elizabeth was rushing to her side to visit her.
Reports are now breaking that Queen Elizabeth II has passed away.
She was 96 years old.
Sad Day for England
Very early this morning, reports were blowing up that the Queen’s doctors were “concerned” about her health.
Her family members were summoned to Balmoral Castle in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, where she has been staying all summer.
All of her children were able to make it to her side before she passed, according to reports.
Queen Elizabeth was the country’s longest-reigning monarch.
She held the crown for 70 years, first coming to the throne in 1952.
With her passing, Prince Charles will be elevated to the throne as King.
His wife, Camilla Duchess of Cornwall, will become Queen Consort.
UK officials are expecting large crowds to gather to celebrate the Queen's life and mourn her death.
