Progressive Activists Celebrate Large Block of ‘Uncommitted’ Votes for Biden in Primary

If you want to know why Joe Biden is now being critical of Israel and pushing for a cease-fire, one need only look at the significant “uncommitted” votes he is seeing in primary elections.

Yet again this week, there were thousands of uncommitted votes cast in primary races, and the numbers are concerning.

To that point, the groups encouraging this “protest” vote are taking a victory lap.

Let Joe Be Joe

Before I get into how this will impact the election, I would really like you to take a quick look at the Fox News segment below.

You don’t even need to watch the entirety of it, just watch until they show Biden after giving a speech, and the empty look on his face after he says he will get himself into trouble if he takes questions…

That look you just saw is what American voters are seeing and they are not happy about it.

On top of that, Biden now has to deal with this block of voters who want him to pressure Israel for a cease-fire in Gaza.

The protest that is taking place was encouraged by Squad members in the House, and it is having an impact.

For instance, in Wisconsin, more than 65,000 voters either voted for Rep. Dean Phillips, who is no longer in the race, or “uninstructed.”

In Connecticut, there were 8,000 “uncommitted” votes and in Rhode Island, there were 4,000 “uncommitted votes.”

Now, that may not seem like a like, but it was 11.5%, 11.5%, and 14.9%, respectively, of voters that came out for the primary election.

After the election tallies were in, the progressive activist group Our Revolution stated, "In Wisconsin alone, nearly 48,000 voters cast an unrestricted ballot in the Democratic presidential primary, far surpassing campaign goals and significantly exceeding President Biden’s margin of victory over Trump in the 2020 general election.

"Similarly, in Rhode Island and Connecticut, 15% and 12% of Democratic primary voters marked their ballots as ‘uncommitted,’ further amplifying the call for a bold redirection in policy."

In some states, if the uncommitted votes just stay away from polls, it would be enough to flip the 2020 election results, so this is a real problem for Biden if that war is still taking place when we head to the polls for election day.

Keep in mind, however, that Trump still has considerable work to do on this front.

Trump is also seeing protest votes being made for Nikki Haley and Governor Ron DeSantis, two candidates who are already out and have been out of the race for some time.

Trump’s surrogates really upset the supporters of both candidates, and Haley has refused to endorse Trump since being knocked out of the race.

This race could ultimately come down to who manages to make peace with their dissenters within their respective parties first.
