Philadelphia High School Football Practice Turns Deadly

The city of Philadelphia has turned into a war zone under Mayor Kenney.

Now, even the kids that are trying to do the right thing have been caught up in the reality of Democrat policies.

Five boys were shot after football practice this week, with one of them succumbing to his wounds.

Horrific

Philadelphia is a city I know all too well.

I grew up in Philadelphia, eventually leaving the area to head west because I was disgusted by the direction the area was going.

It was already difficult being a conservative in that city, but crime, homelessness, and gangs just started to take over.

I still have friends in the area, so when I saw this report, I was horrified that I might recognize a name.

The fact that I do not is little solace to the fact that boys who were living a good life, a proper life, were gunned down like common street thugs.

The Roxborough High School football team had just finished practice when two individuals sprayed the area with gunfire.

The boy who died, Nicholas Elizalde, was only 14 years old.

He was hit in the chest and pronounced dead about half an hour later.

Four other boys were wounded.

Philadelphia First Deputy Commissioner John Stanford stated, “We have at least two shooters that opened fire on this group of students who were pretty much finishing up a game.”

He added, “There is one family, that their son won’t make it home today, and that’s the big part of this.”

This is an incident that tears apart a community.

That entire high school will be traumatized, their friends will be crushed, and those families, well, they will be sent down a rabbit hole they may never find their way out of.

This is the world we live in today where kids on a field playing ball are no longer safe.
