POLL: Only 32% Want Harris to Run for President in 2028
To hear Democrats talk about Harris, she only needed more time for America to get to know her.
Well, from what I could see, once Americans were reminded this was the same Harris that ran for office in 2020, they walked away.
To that point, only 32% of those recently surveyed want to see Harris run for president again, which has to be considered a slap in the face for the vice president.
Not Again
I just watched an interview with Bill Clinton, in which he claims Harris lost because people never really got to know her.
Well, whose fault is that? She was the vice president, and every time they put her out in front, she crashed and burned.
Then she would go into hiding, which she did for most of her vice presidency, so please don’t give this pile of rubbish as the reason for her having lost the election.
If you recall, Harris was among the favorites in 2020, but her campaign crashed and burned after the first debate when Harris painted a very clear picture of who she was, and America rejected her.
When Harris was gifted the nomination without a single American having voted for her, she had more than enough time to make an impression, but she just turned into the same word salad conjurer we had seen over the last four years.
So, it is really not surprising that only 32% want to see her run again, compared to 55% that believe the Democrat Party needs to go in a different direction.
Let’s not forget, Harris handed Trump the biggest win of a Republican in decades, including a popular vote win and a clean sweep of the current battleground states.
The fact that in those battleground states, Democrats won their gubernatorial elections and Democrats fared decently in the House and Senate is a rebuke of just one person… Kamala Harris.
Harris may run again, but I think her political career is over on a national basis unless she runs for something in California and wins, then has a remarkable term.
Her only hope is to run for Governor, which I would love to see her win because I have every faith she would destroy that state even more, outright ending her career.
I believe we will see the Democrat Party go in a different direction, likely seeing someone like Gavin Newsom or Gretchen Whitmer step up in the next presidential election.
Having said that, if Trump has a good term, I don’t see anyone on the current Democrat roster who can beat the likes of Governor DeSantis or JD Vance in the 2028 cycle.
