POLL: Majority Say Biden Made Economy Worse

As Joe Biden readies himself to leave office, he is still pushing the narrative that he has made everyone’s lives better.

Well, the American people have a little something to say about that.

A recent Fox News poll delivered a rude awakening to Biden, with more than half of those surveyed believing that Biden has hurt the economy.

Big Problems

Biden started taking heat on the economy virtually as soon as he took office.

Dating back to September 2021, 47% believed we were heading in the wrong direction, but there were still 42% who believed they were doing better, and 10% saw no difference.

Biden’s worst survey was in July 2022, where he was at 55% worse and only 17% better, with 25% saying there was no difference.

In January 2025, Fox News ran the same poll, which came back at 52% worse, 28% better, and only 18% that claimed there was no difference.

Currently, 70% believe the economy is in fair or poor condition, with a mere 30% saying it is good or excellent.

Democratic pollster Chris Anderson stated, "Despite presiding over the strongest post-pandemic economic recovery in the world and making historic investments in infrastructure that will produce millions of new jobs over the next decade, voters clearly judged Biden’s efforts on the economy as counterproductive.”

As I have stated before, COVID was a gift for Biden, handing over an economy to him that a monkey could have revived.

Unfortunately, Biden started pushing his green agenda and declared war on fossil fuels, which drove gasoline prices up.

When transportation costs are higher, the price of everything goes up, and that is why we are all seeing our bank accounts driven into the dirt right now.

The funny thing about all this was Biden’s farewell address, when he stated that he had planted the seeds that will pay off for many years to come, which is just his warning that anything good that happens during the Trump administration will be claimed as a victory by Biden and Dems, claiming it was Biden’s policies that enabled all that to happen.
