POLL: Majority of Dems Believe Party Needs to Change

The election of Donald Trump in 2024 was a wake-up call for the Democrat Party.

While voters sent the party a clear message, the people who were elected to office seemed to not want to give in to the change voters were clearly asking for.

A new poll from CNN was just released, and people like Schumer and Pelosi may want to sit up and take notice.

Time for Change

The fact that Donald Trump won the popular vote should have been a clear wakeup call for Democrats, but the message does not appear to be getting through just yet.

Perhaps the new poll from CNN will rattle them a bit more to the point they start getting away from these uber-woke policies.

Democrats are seeing their lowest ratings in three decades, with many of their voters feeling “burned out” by politics, which is clearly not a good sign for the party.

A whopping 58% of the party wants to see change among Democrats. That number is nearly double what it was in 2022 after the mid-term elections (it was 34% at the time).

At the same time, Republican voters are far happier with their party, with the number going down from 38% who wanted to see change to only 28% now.

The survey was not all strawberries and whipped cream for Republicans, though.

Combined numbers show that 70% of voters are disappointed, and 64% continue to be frustrated with the political temperature.

Nearly 40% are angry, with less than 20% feeling optimistic overall about the country.

This is exactly why I warned against Trump overpromising on the campaign trail, because even though we control both chambers of Congress, we don’t have the numbers to push through the agenda.

Additionally, many of the executive orders that Trump will use during his first few days in office are going to be litigated, and I can tell you flat out that at least one of his energy orders is likely to be defeated, even if it goes to the Supreme Court.

Two years… that is what Trump has to convince voters they made the right decision in November.
