POLL: Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris Leading Candidates If Biden Cannot run

There is a lot of speculation about Joe Biden possibly stepping down and not running for re-election.

Mind you, this is all wishful thinking on the part of Democrats and voters who want a younger option because Joe Biden has given no inclination that he plans on stepping aside.

If, however, for some reason, that does happen, a recent Harvard-Harris poll puts two unlikely people at the top of the list for his replacement.

They Never Learn

According to the poll, the top two leading candidates to replace Biden are the only people polling lower than Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Hillary Clinton, who is only five years younger than Joe!

Harris actually led the poll with 24%, followed by Hillary, who was polling at 13%, then Senator Bernie Sanders, Governor Gavin Newsom, Pete Buttigieg, Elizabeth Warren, Someone Else, and AOC brought up the rear behind the infamous “someone else” candidate.

Biden's numbers are still awful with voters, with 59% of Democrats saying they want someone else to run, and only 41% wanting to see Joe’s name on the ballot.

Among Independent voters, 66% say Joe should not be running for office again.

With most of the filing deadlines having either passed or within a few weeks, this obsession that the Democrats have with Hillary Clinton is not going to become a reality, regardless of how much some of these talking heads are pushing the idea.

The only way that Biden does not run is if something were to happen to him health-wise that would make it impossible for him to continue.

Joe knows that his best chance of keeping his son out of jail is to be sitting in the Oval Office, so I just don’t see him dropping out on his own.
