Last month, Austin Police Officer Anthony Martin died in an off-duty motorcycle accident.
Austin Mayor Steve Adler, a Democrat, attended his memorial service this week.
Adler did not even have the decency to stay awake, deciding to rest his chin on his chest and take a snooze right in the middle of the service.
Disgrace
We already know Democrats have virtually no respect for police, but this is inexcusable.

Berry added, “You have time and time again shown nothing but contempt and utmost disrespect towards the men and women of the Austin Police Department but also our families.”
After the picture went viral, Adler issued an obligatory apology.
He stated, “I want to express my deepest apologies to the family of Officer Martin. Officer Martin died 10 days ago and will forever be honored as a hero.
“This moment should be about him and his family, including his two daughters whose words today pierced my heart as a father.
“I hold Officer Martin in the highest regard. May his memory be a blessing to his family, and to the city he served.”
The service only lasted about an hour, yet Adler could not keep his eyes open out of respect for this fallen officer and his family.
Sir, you are a complete and utter disgrace.
