Police Officers Found Not Guilty On All Charges In Black Man's Death

A Black man recently died while in police custody.

The fallout came quickly.

Liberals were obviously furious about what occurred and instantly started using this man's life as a political argument.

To prove a point, they wanted the officers who were present when this happened absolutely DESTROYED.

It doesn't look like it's going to happen.

Three Tacoma, Washington police officers have been found not guilty on all charges in relation to the 2020 death of Manuel Ellis, 33, while he was in police custody.

Similar to another high-profile death that happened while the suspect was in police custody, reports indicate that "Manny" Ellis had been telling the officers that he couldn't breathe before he passed away.

Ellis was caught "trying to open car doors of occupied vehicles" by police back in 2020.

Part of his arrest was recorded on video by a witness who testified during the trial of these three officers.

Reportedly, Ellis could be heard crying "I can't breathe" on police dispatch audio.

The three officers were charged in 2021, "marking the first time the state’s attorney general criminally charged officers for the unlawful use of deadly force," according to CNN.

Fast forward to the verdict, and the social justice warriors didn't get the result they wanted.

Moments after the verdict was announced, the officers and their families were seen in tears in the courtroom hugging each other.

Not everyone was pleased with the verdict though.

Ellis' lawyer was upset and told a version of the story that was entirely different from the one in which the now-deceased man was trying to open locked car doors.

"Manny Ellis was unarmed and walking home from a 7-Eleven with some donuts and a bottle of water when TPD officers stopped him. He was minding his own business and not a threat to anyone. Manny didn’t have to be arrested that night, and he certainly didn’t have to die," attorney Matthew Ericksen maintained.
