Police officer sentenced to 10 weekends in jail for raping 13-year-old

Supporters of former President Donald Trump are likely FURIOUS over the latest verdict in the case of former Rochester police officer Shawn Jordan.

Shawn Jordan was arrested and brought to court on allegations that he raped a 13-year-old girl.

He pleaded guilty.

Trump supporters KNOW that police officers are supposed to protect and serve!

People like Shawn Jordan who are committing such heinous acts need to be held accountable for their sickening crimes.

This is NOT what the blue stands for.

To make matters worse -- Jordan will only spend a measly 10 weekends in prison for his crimes and will serve 10 years of probation.

The assistant district attorney of Ontario County, Kelly Wolford, has since released a statement addressing the sentence.

“I’m thankful that it’s over for the victim and her family who are here today in court. I'm not entirely satisfied with the sentence, and it was my recommendation, and the court indicated that she was going to impose 10 weeks of jail plus 10 years of probation. But ultimately, as a prosecutor, I have to weigh things like the impact of actually having to testify on the victim of this crime, and she was a child, and she was going to have to base her accuser in the courtroom,” said Wolford.

What makes the light sentence even more appalling is the fact that this is NOT the only instance of a crime against a minor.

Jordan also allegedly exposed himself to a 16-year-old girl WHILE he was still a police officer.

This is a repeat offender and the fact that he got off with such a light sentence is absolutely unacceptable.

Wolford echoed that sentiment saying that “this is an ultimate tragedy, because these parents trusted him.”

“He's a police officer, and if we can't trust the police, then who can we trust? It's a very difficult situation,” Wolford continued.

Wolford hit the nail on the head.
